About us
Hamtern Financial Services was founded in 2010 by Denis Ternent and Ian Graham, both former executives of the then only JSE-listed insurance broker and risk advisory company.
In 2019 Mohau Equity Partners acquired a 51% stake in Hamtern. Mohau is an investment holding company founded by Dr Penny Moumakwa and is a strategic long-term investor, majority-owned and controlled by black women.
